Qatar Sprint Qualifying Result: Lando Norris Just Past Ahead Of Russell To Start On Pole
As we are close to just two races left, we will see another race, the Qatar Sprint Race. Lando Norris came on the top of the Qatar Sprint Qualifying round but not too far ahead of Las Vegas GP winner George Russell.
It is a great result for the McLaren F1 team, who finished 1st and 3rd to have a strong position to start in the Sprint race. The Ferrari drivers finished 4th and 5th in the Sprint Qualification and will try to close the gap with McLaren to take the Constructors Championship to the last match.
McLaren currently has 608 points, which gives them a 24-point lead over Ferrari, who has 584 points. These two will most probably be fighting for the Constructors Championship.
How can McLaren win the constructor championship At the Qatar Grand Prix?
Ferrari can score at most 44 points in the Qatar Grand Prix, and even if no other McLaren driver can score a single point, then only they can take the lead. However, McLaren just needed to outscore Ferrari by 21 points in the Qatar GP.
