He hails from the land of the greatest ever UFC fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov, who had an exceptional MMA career. Both fighters are still undefeated in the MMA, with Khabib remaining (29-0), now retired, and Shara currently holding the undefeated record of 12-0.

Despite coming from a land where most of the fighters have impressive ground games, Sharaputdin Magomedov is more of a striker and hardly ever relied on the ground game. In his last 12 fights, he finished 10 with knockouts. He is deadly with his hands, and that’s what he showed in his UFC debut as well.

At the ADCC Bangkok event, he got disqualified for his unsportsmanlike conduct as the fighter kicked his opponent Jakub Bilko after losing a grappling match by a heel hook to him.
