Delhi Capitals is one of those teams that started their campaign with consecutive wins, winning their initial four games of the league, but then, in their last six matches, they managed to get only two wins. In yesterday’s match, where they were playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Delhi Capitals only put 133 runs on the board, and a defeat was almost inevitable, but it was all fate that rain showers didn’t let the second innings start, and both teams got 1 point each.

Though Sunrisers Hyderabad got 1 point from the match, they got eliminated from the playoffs race; Delhi Capitals are still in the race, and here is how they can still manage to get into the top 4.

Delhi Capitals currently has six wins in the 11 matches they have played so far, with four defeats and one no-contest, which makes it 13 points, and now they have three games left in the league stage. If Axar Patel and Co. manage to win all three matches, then that will take them to 19 points, and that would be enough to bring them into the top 4, but the upcoming matches are against Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, and Punjab Kings all of them are into top 4 and it will be a challenge for Delhi Capitals to win against these teams.

What If Delhi Capitals Lose 1 or 2 Matches?

If Delhi Capitals win two of their three matches, that will take them to 17 points. In that case, they will be at the mercy of others in the competition, and the same applies if they lose two matches.
