The exhibition boxing match will mark the return of the Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor to combat sports after the tragic leg break incident happened in 2021 while fighting in a trilogy bout against former UFC lightweight interim champ Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
India’s one of the wealthiest families, Ambanis, is facilitating the money event, and according to some reports, each fighter would get a whopping $250 million for their exhibition boxing match. Conor McGregor earlier announced the initial negotiations he was having with the Ambani family for the historic event, and he almost confirmed the rumors of fight finalization by posting a tweet on his X handle with the sign of the Indian flag and a heart.
