Gautam Gambhir's confident about Babar Azam's comeback

Former India’s opening batter Gautam Gambhir thinks otherwise. Gautam Gambhir is confident that Babar Azam’s best is yet to come, and as he no longer feels the pressure of handling the team, he can focus on improving his batting skills. Babar Azam would now play as a complete batter for the team, and that’s what he must have been thinking of for a long time.

Babar Azam averaged 40.00 in the nine matches he played in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and failed to contribute anything significant for his team during the tournament. This was the second time Pakistan had failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the ODI World Cup. According to Gautam Gambhir, who also picked Babar Azam as the batter of the tournament before the start of the ODI World Cup 2023, while talking to Sportskeeda, he justified Babar’s form in the ODI World Cup 2023 and also showed confidence that he will bounce back and perform as a star batter forward.
