India vs Afghanistan 2nd T20I Highlights: India and Afghanistan clashed for their second match in the three-match T20I series at Holkar Stadium, Indore. India, coming in as a favorite, was looking to seal the series by winning the second T20I. Captain Rohit Sharma was playing his 150th match in the international T20 format, though he couldn’t do anything significant during the match. His teammates Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube helped the team register victory to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Jaiswal and Dube both scored fifties while chasing the target of 173 runs during the match, which took India to the target in just 15.4 overs.

India vs Afghanistan 2nd T20I Highlights
India’s skipper, after winning the toss, decided to bowl first, and Afghanistan skipper Ibrahim Zadran and Rahmanullah Gurbaz started the innings for their team. Rahmanullah Gurbaz started well and was looking furious, but Ravi Bishnoi cleaned him up on the score of 14. Gulbadin Naib entered the crease and started scoring runs quickly from one end, but from the other, Afghanistan were losing wickets to skipper Ibrahim Zadran, and Azmatullah Omarzai couldn’t contribute much with the bat. Gulbadin Naib scored his fifty, and it was his second fifty in the T20I. Afghanistan went on to put 172 runs on the scoreboard in 20 overs.
India’s start while chasing the target of 173 runs wasn’t ideal as again Rohit Sharma, who was playing his 150th T20I match, got dismissed in the first ball he faced. This was his second consecutive duck in the series. Now Virat Kohli entered the crease, and for some time he kept rotating the strikes and scoring boundaries whenever required. Yashasvi Jaiswal, on the other end, didn’t let the run rate drop. Virat Kohli got dismissed at the score of 29 runs, and then came Shivam Dube, who hit a fifty in the last match, and this time he repeated the same but with more lethal striking.
Both left-handed batters lit up the stadium and gave wings to the cricket ball, though Yashasvi lost its wicket in the race to end the match quickly. Shivam Dube, like in the last match, remained out and hit the winning runs for the team. India chased the target of 173 runs in just 15.4 overs.
