India bowled out New Zealand in 327 runs.

India vs New Zealand World Cup 2023 Highlights
India’s skipper Rohit Sharma, after winning the toss, chose to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, and he was all pumped up to provide the start his team needed. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the attack and played every shot in their arsenal, de-settling New Zealand’s bowlers. Rohit Sharma was hitting the ball over the ropes, batting fearlessly. He scored 47 runs in just 29 balls, but his innings came to an end when he was caught long off by Kane Williamson.
India lost its first wicket, but the sorrow soon changed into cheer when Virat Kohli entered the field, as people were expecting him to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of ODI centuries, and he did that to become the first batter to score 50 ODI centuries. Shreyas Iyer, on the other end, was in a different zone and kept the run rate flying high, scoring his second century in the ODI World Cup in just 67 balls. A quick fire from KL Rahul dragged India to a score of 397 runs in 50 overs.
New Zealand, while chasing the target of 398 runs, didn’t get the start they were looking for as Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra got out after scoring just 13 runs each. New Zealand were put on the backfoot by India’s bowling star Mohammed Shami, but New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell gave the scare to the Indian bowling. They built the partnership required by New Zealand’s team to be in the match. Both batters took New Zealand to a 200+ score in just 30 overs. Both were looking good, but Mohammed Shami, who dropped Kane Williamson on 52, took his wicket, making a comeback.
After that, Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell were looking good, but Shami’s spell didn’t let New Zealand recover as India bowled out New Zealand for 327 runs.

India’s bowler Mohammed Shami was named player of the match for his over-the-top bowling performance in the semi-final match. He took seven wickets in the match to dismantle New Zealand’s batting side.
The wicket was very good, lots of runs were scored in the afternoon. It feels amazing. Last two World Cups, we lost in the semis. We wanted to do everything for this, (it was) one chance we didn’t want to let go.”
