India vs South Africa 2nd Test Match Preview: India and South Africa will again play their 2nd test match at Newlands, Cape Town, on January 3rd, 2024, and the match will be streamed on Hotstar in India from 2 PM IST.
It will be the first International match for both teams in 2024, and both teams will be looking to start their year with a win and solid performance. Indian Cricket Team lost their last match by an inning and 32 runs, which is such a bad performance by the team that has been in the two finals of the World Test Championship. The only place India never won a test series is in South Africa, and now it’s not possible this year either, as they lost the 1st test already.
South Africa gave a solid performance after losing the T20 and ODI series against India, but in the test match, they showed their brilliance of bowling, especially Kagiso Rabada’s performance, and from the batting side, Dean Elgar, who scored 185 runs to become the player of the match. The pace bowling unit kept the Indian batter on the back foot, except for Kholi and Rahul. When Aiden Markram took charge of the team after Temba got hurt and went out of the game.
The test match is going to test both teams, as Cape Town is known for its pace and extra bounce, and there will be a few changes on the side as both teams have a few players who are not 100% fit.
