IPL 2024 29th Match MI vs CSK: Weather Forecast And Pitch Report

MI vs CSK: Mumbai Indians are back to the winning column with two consecutive victories in their last two matches. Both wins came at their home ground, Wankhede Stadium, and this time, they will face Chennai Super Kings at the same venue. Two young captains, Hardik Pandya, and Ruturaj Gaikwad, will clash tonight to gain more points for their team as captain. Hardik Pandya didn’t get the start he expected in the IPL 2024 as newly crowned captain of the five times IPL champions team and struggled to secure a win in the first three matches for his team, due to which he got trolled and criticized by the Rohit Sharma’s fans. But after two recent victories, he has started gaining the confidence of the MI fans and will be looking to bolster it tonight by registering another win.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, on the other hand, has had a fantastic captaincy debut, winning three of the five matches played. He has proved he can captain CSK well, but beating MI at home would be challenging for the youngster.

IPL 2024 29th Match MI vs CSK: Pitch Report

The pitch at Wankhede is known for its batter’s friendliness, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing for the bowlers. Bowlers who can swing the ball either way are really effective under the ground’s lights. Spinners can be effective during the match’s first innings, but later, there is little help for the spinners as dew starts getting deposited on the ground.
