How Will the IPL 2024 Match Result be Announced?

The IPL 2024 match results will be declared after each game. The team that scores the most runs will win that particular match. In case, the match ends in a tie, a special “Super Over” will decide the winner. When the match is won by one team, they’ll get two points, which will help their overall IPL points table. And if a match can’t happen or stops in between because of the bad weather, both teams will get one point each. The IPL 2024 points table can help in understanding how each team is performing. 

The four teams that performed well and scored the most points will go to playoffs. If two or more teams have the same points, the team with the best net run rate will move on to the next matches. The playoffs have four matches: Qualifier 1 between the top two teams, an Eliminator between the third and fourth teams, and Qualifier 2 between the winner of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1. The winner of Qualifier 2 joins the finalists in the IPL 2024 final, which is expected to happen on May 26th, but the venue is still unknown.
