While captaining KKR in the IPL 2024, Shreyas Iyer led the franchise to its 3rd IPL title after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final. Some other new names that will be seen playing for the Punjab Kings are Yuzvendra Chahal, Marcus Stoinis, Yash Thakur, etc. After being released from RCB, Glenn Maxwell has been purchased by Punjab Kings.
Moreover, after having a great last season, Indian players like Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh have been retained by the franchise.
