Red Bull’s New Race Car: Check Out the Cool VCARB 01!
Red Bull Racing just showed off their fresh 2024 car, the VCARB 01, in Las Vegas. The team used to be called AlphaTauri, but they’ve switched things up with a snazzy blue and white look, bringing back the vibes from when they were Toro Rosso.
The big event had the new boss, Peter Bayer, and Team Principal, Laurent Mekies, front and center. Drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, who are sticking around for another run, added some star power. Plus, there were cool performances by Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem.
The team made some big changes behind the scenes, too. Mekies is now in charge, taking over from the longtime boss, Franz Tost. They brought in some experienced folks like Racing Director Alan Permane, Chief Technical Officer Tim Goss, and Deputy Technical Director Guillaume Cattelani.
Who are the Drivers of RB Formula One Team?
Ricciardo and Tsunoda are back, hoping for a better season than last time when AlphaTauri ended up in 8th place. Ricciardo had a bumpy ride in 2023, returning midway but facing some setbacks. The VCARB 01’s blue and white colors stand out from the other cars this year, showing that Red Bull is going for a fresh start. The team even changed their name to Visa Cash App RB, making headlines during the break.
The team is gearing up for an exciting season with pre-season testing in Bahrain starting on February 21 and the first race from February 29 to March 2. Ricciardo and Tsunoda are eyeing a spot in the Red Bull team in 2025. Daniel Ricciardo retained his seat in the new AlphaTauri, which was rebranded by the name of RB Formula One Team for the 2024 Season, and it is going to be an exciting season for the team that has just rebranded itself.
