Who is Auto Racing (F1) Prodigy Kimi Antonelli?
Andrea Kimi Antonelli is 17 years Formula 2 Championship driver with Prema Racing right now and is one of the top young talents who has already been signed by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team in 2019 and in 2024 he drove a Mercedes W12 at the Red Bull Ring.
Recently, there have been rumors that Kimi might be the 2nd driver for the Mercedes F1 team for the 2025 season alongside George Russell, as Hamilton will drive for the Ferrari team. He is a born racer who started his Formula champions journey in 2021 as an F4 driver, but his junior racing stats are not too great like so many young drivers who are right now in Formula One like Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, and many more who won their junior champions in the F2, F4, and other category.
In his recent conversation with the media, Andrew Shovlin, the engineering director, praised Antonelli, who said that he is driving quite well in the Mercedes F1 testing car and can potentially replace Lewis Hamilton in the coming season.

Hamilton commented while speaking to ESPN.
