Argentina Women’s football team will try to do what their men’s team did seventh months ago in Qatar as they won the FIFA World Cup. However, It is going to be very tough for them even to reach the Round of 16.
Argentina reached never reached the round of 16 in the world cup, and it is not going to be quite easy for them to qualify for the knockout stage. Since their new coach German Portanova came into the team, Argentina Women’s football team has started to perform quite well as their skill level, and unit are at a higher level now.
In the last world cup, Argentina was not able to reach the round of 16, but this team they are going to give their all because now they have a better coach and squad.
Before the last year, Argentina’s women’s team were on strike because they wanted better facility in their local leagues and club structure. Because of that, their ranking in FIFA is now 28, which is quite low.
Argentina is in Group G with Sweden, Italy, and South Africa, who are going to challenge them to be at the top of the table.
