Owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin released a joint statement expressing gratitude for Mourinho’s passion and efforts but emphasizing the need for an immediate change for the club’s best interests. Former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi is reportedly the frontrunner to replace Mourinho, with an agreement being finalized. De Rossi is expected to take charge until June, with an option for contract renewal based on achievements and results. Other candidates, including Graham Potter and Antonio Conte, were also considered for the role.
