January Transfer Window Rumours of 2025: Man City And Real Madrid Ready To Bring Players In Winter Transfer

Read about Real Madrid's and Manchester City's January transfer window targets and find out why both teams are struggling.

As it is mid-November already, the Winter January Transfer is near, and many clubs have started to prepare a list of the most needed players they want to sign in the January 2025 Winter Transfer, which has been silent in the last two seasons.

Manchester City And Real Madrid Need Defenders

The two best-performing teams over the last decade in all the football clubs competitions are struggling to find their feet for the first team in the 2024/2025 season due to lots of injuries.

Both Manchester City and Real Madrid’s defensive games have been terrible because their main defenders have been sidelined, and the young or backup defenders are not stepping up their game.

For Manchester City, the injuries of Ruben Dias and John Stones hit them hard as they didn’t have many backup options, which is why they had to make Josko Gvardiol play as Center back, and 19-year-old Jahmai Simpson-Pusey got his second chance to play for the senior team.

One of the most important players Manchester City is missing is Rodri. He is the heart of Manchester City, and without him, the team looks like a car running without any direction. He has been amazing, from breaking through the opposition’s play to creating chances for his teammates.

In an interview, Pep said that they knew the reason why they were struggling this year.

“We know the reason why we struggle but we are looking forward to this game and after the international break, and after that a few players will be back and recovered. All the little problems we have with players will be solved. I hope.”

Man City Transfer Target: Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella and Atalanta’s Ederson have also been mooted as potential options for Manchester City.

The Real Madrid team injury list added three players after Eder Militao suffered a torn ACL, Rodrygo from a muscle tear, and Vazquez had adductor strain in the same leg where he got his last injury.

David Alaba, Daniel Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, and Aurelien Tchouameni were already sidelined. Real Madrid management could sack Carlos Ancelotti, as they did in the 2015 season. It is clear that Madrid will look to sign at least two defenders and a full-back after he is left with no option now.

Real Madrid January Transfer Target Players: Cristian Romero and Jarrad Branthwaite as targets are the top targets for Real Madrid.
