The much-awaited tournament of Ugandan Kabaddi, the Men’s Uganda Kabaddi League Season 3 is going to be held at Fast Fusion Sports Arena, Bugolobi in Kampala from 1st March 2023 to 28th March 2023. A fascinating display of skill and tactics awaits all sports fans as teams across Uganda compete for the top spot. With a total of 8 participating teams and after intense weeks of battle, only one team will have the honor of being crowned champion at the final Points table. As always, all eyes will be on the competition to find out which team will stand triumphant at the end!
Kicking off on March 1, 2023, the Men’s Uganda Kabaddi League is entering its third season. Last season was incredibly competitive, with reigning champions Star Pirates KC proving themselves to be at the helm of the tournament with an outstanding record of 17 wins and just a single loss in 18 games. This new season is set to produce even more fierce competition as 12 teams will now compete instead of 10; the teams represent all parts of Uganda including Star Pirates KC, War Jaguars Kabaddi, Masaka KC , Kampala KC, Random Fighters KC and more. With higher level skill than ever before, this third season will undoubtedly be full of thrills and excitement for fans.
Kitara KC, Jinja KC and Nile KC are the newest teams to join the ranks of competitive players for the third season of Men’s Uganda Kabaddi League. With these three new entrants, along with all other teams from preceding leagues, fans can look forward to an increased level of excitement as 136 matches take place throughout this upcoming campaign. All teams have spent months training and strategizing in preparation for what is sure to be a memorable season. The stakes will be higher than ever before as 48 incredibly talented team battle it out on the mats with each match culminating in league finals that are scheduled for late March 2023. It is easy to see why this season has become one that all Kabaddi enthusiasts can’t wait to witness – whether in stadiums or on their screens.
The Men’s Uganda Kabaddi League is entering its third edition, and it’s expected to be the most exciting one yet! All teams will feature in matches of 40 minutes with two halves of 20 each. Victory will take away five points while a draw returns nothing. However, if the match ends in a tie, both teams split the game with three points each. Following the league stage, it’s time for the semi-finals with first place taking on fourth place and second facing off against third. It’ll all culminate on March 28th as the two victors face off for supremacy in a thrilling final showdown that you can’t afford to miss!
