Then Ajit Chouhan picked up a point in his raid to score his first raid point of the game. Ayan counter-attacked by scoring touchpoints in his raids and bringing his team into the lead. The pressure was mounting on U Mumba, under which they started underperforming and committed mistakes. In a do-or-die raid, all-rounder Rohit Raghav got out of bounce, which helped the Pirates inflict the first all-out of the match on U Mumba.
U Mumba’s defense tackled Devank Dalal multiple times, but Ayan Lohchab supported his team in getting raid points. At the end of the first half, U Mumba was lagging by 6 points, and the score was 11-17.
The point gap wasn’t huge, and U Mumba started making a comeback in the second half, with Ajit Chouhan scoring points in his raids. U Mumba downed the deficit to just 4 points, with the scoreline standing at 14-18 with 13 minutes on the clock.
Ayan Lohchab proved his worth and didn’t just score points in his raids but did a successful super tackle on U Mumba’s raider Ajit Chouhan with the final whistle of the game; Patna Pirates won the match by leading the scoreline 31-23 to fill the final spot of the semi-finalist.
