Haryana Steelers vs U Mumba: Haryana Steelers defeated U Mumba in the match 128th of the Pro Kabaddi League season 11 to become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of this season. Even after getting the defeat, U Mumba is still alive in the playoffs race.
U Mumba started the game aggressively as they tackled Haryana Steelers’ Vinay in the first raid of the game to get on board. Steelers returned the favor by tackling Amir Zafardanesh. Haryana’s defense wasn’t leaking points and tackled the top raider of U Mumba Ajit Chouhan next to gain the lead in the initial minutes of the first half. U Mumba was down to just 2-men when captain Sunil showed his strength and tackled Shadloui to get the first super tackle of the night.
Shivam Patare’s 2-point raid brought U Mumba to 1 man, as the Steelers inflicted the first all-out on U Mumba in the 8th minute of the first half. U Mumba’s defense started crumbling, and Shivam Patare capitalized on that. With 2 minutes remaining in the first half, U Mumba got all-out for the second time. The first half ended with the Steelers leading the scoreline by 26-14.
The start of the second half wasn’t different. Haryana Steelers maintained pressure on U Mumba, which resulted in U Mumba going all-out for the third time in the match. U Mumba tried to close the points gap, but it wasn’t their day on the mat.
At the end of the final half of the match, Haryana Steelers led the scoreline with a 17-point difference(47-30) and qualified for the season’s semi-finals.
