Yoddhas didn’t give any chance to Gujarat Giants to close the points gap and kept the pressure on the latter to inflict another all-out in the final minutes of the first half. The first half ended with UP Yoddhas leading the scoreline by 29-11.
The start of the second half wasn’t different, as Gagan Gowda started with a point. The defense of Giants’ was posing no threats to Yoddhas’ raiders as the duo of Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput scored Super-10s and inflicted two more all-outs on Giants.
UP kept increasing the lead and didn’t let the Giants make a comeback in the second half. The game ended with UP securing a 36-point victory against Gujarat Giants, 59-23. The victory took UP Yoddhas to the second spot in the points table.
