They came back hard at the Giants and tackled their raiders to gain the lead in the match. U Mumba’s Ajit Chouhan was quick in his raids and scoring points. Meanwhile, Gujarat Giants were down to only two men during the final 5 minutes of the game, but a Super tackle saved them from getting all-out. Now, Gujarat’s raiders started the counter-attack and scored multiple raid points to overtake U Mumba in points. At the end of the first half, the Giants had the lead of just 1 point, with the scoreline standing at 16-15.
From the second half, U Mumba inflicted an all-out on the Giants to go ahead in the scoreline. The match wasn’t on anyone’s court, as both teams were putting their best on the mat. In the 12th minute of the second half, Gujarat Giants inflicted an all-out on U Mumba to gain momentum in the match, but Ajit Chouhan was fighting from the other end to close the points gap. In fact, his super raid in the last 4 minutes of the game made U Mumba level the score. It was the tackle points that made the difference as the final raid was a do-or-die where Gujarat Giants’ Rohit tackled Manjeet to get the point they needed to register a win in the match.
