PKL 11, Match 127: Tamil Thalaivas vs Bengaluru Bulls| Thalaivas Thwarted Bulls To Win By 10 Points

Tamil Thalaivas vs Bengaluru Bulls: Bengaluru Bulls lost its 18th game of the Pro Kabaddi League season 11 as Tamil Thalaivas won their second-last match of the season by 10 points at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.

Tamil Thalaivas started well, with Moein Shafaghi scoring a quick bonus for his team in the game’s first raid to get his team on board. However, Pardeep Narwal, who was about to make history by becoming the first player to score 1800 points in the PKL, got tackled in a do-or-die raid. The defense of both sides prevented the Raiders from scoring multiple points, so the scoreline stood at 4-4 in the first 7 minutes of the first half.

Bengaluru Bulls’ Sushil made Thalaivas’ defense a mistake and capitalized on that to score a super-raid as Bengaluru started leading the board. Moein Shafaghi closed the points gap by scoring points in his raids. Though Sushil scored points in his raids, he wasn’t getting much support from other raiders. At the end of the first half, the scoreline was 13-14, with Tamil Thalaivas leading it by 1 point.

The start of the second half was good for Bengaluru Bulls, as Pardeep Narwal scored 2 points in his raid, but Tahalaivas fought back to gain the lead. The defense contributed to tackling the Bengaluru Bulls’ raiders. In the 10th minute of the second half, Thalaivas inflicted the first all-out on the Bulls to increase their lead.

Himanshu’s 4-point raid broke Bengaluru’s defense, and within four minutes, Thalaivas inflicted another all-out on the Bulls. The match ended with Tamil Thalaivas leading the scoreline by 10 points. (42-32)
