Scheduled to take place from March 23 to 26 in the bustling city of Mahendergarh, Haryana, the championship promises to be a thrilling event for both the participants and spectators alike. Under the guidance of the steadfast Association general secretary, Surinder Mohan Gupta, the talented team will represent the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and J&K Sports Council with great pride and determination. As the players gear up for intense matches and challenging rivals, they remain focused on bringing glory back to their homeland and inspiring future generations of Kabaddi players.
Last week was a memorable one for aspiring athletes in the Jammu region, as Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, distributed sports kits to selected players that were present. Chief among those present and applauding the work of Ashok Singh were Dr. Jagandeep Singh Physiotherapist at the Sports Council, Surinder Mohan- General Secretary, Ajay Gupta – In-Charge of Kabaddi Stadium, Kajal Devi -Kabaddi coach, and Archana Kaushal and Joginder Kumar from the Sports Council. With each receiving kit symbolizing hope and dreams for each aspiring athlete to take part in India’s rich sporting culture, this is definitely a momentous event worth celebrating amongst Jammu’s young sporting generation.
