He was looking good on his feet, and scores were favoring him till the end of round 2, but in the third round, Mike Breeden overpowered him to land perfect strikes and combinations, eventually knocking him out with a strong right hand on the chin.
Even though he lost his debut fight, Indian fans are still supporting him and believe that he will come back stronger in his next game. Indian fighters are slowly getting recognition at the biggest MMA promotion as well. After Anshul Jubli, the first Indian women fighter, Puja Tomar, will be seen in the octagon. She recently signed a contract with the UFC and will be seen in the women division of the UFC fighting some of the best fighters in the world. It will only be a matter of time before there are more Indian fighters in the UFC than there are now, but that could only happen if the fighters who got the contract find a way to secure victories in their fights and entertain the fight fans in the arena.
