UFC 300: First Three Fights Are Announced By Dana White
UFC 300 will be a spectacle to watch, as UFC CEO Dana White revealed earlier that some big fights would be happening at the event. So far, three fights are booked for the event, which includes some big names like Jiri Prochazka, Aljamain Sterling, and Bo Nickal. Jiri Prochazka will be taking on Aleksandar Rakic, who ranked fifth in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. Aljamain Sterling is moving up in the scale for his next fight, which will happen in the featherweight division against the seventh-ranked Calvin Kattar, and the third fight will happen between the undefeated Bo Nickal and Cody Brundage.
Former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka (29-4-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) after losing his last fight, which was a title match between him and Alex Periera, is looking forward to making a comeback in his next fight scheduled against Aleksandar Rakic (14-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC), who also lost his last fight due to an injury TKO against Jan Blachowicz back in May 2022, and it will be good to see him back on his feet in the cage.
Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling (23-4 MMA, 15-4 UFC) after his title loss against Sean O’ Malley moved up in the weight category and will be fighting his first fight in the featherweight division at UFC 300 against number seven rank Calvin Kattar (23-7 MMA, 7-5 UFC).
The last of the three fights announced by UFC CEO Dana White is going to happen between the undefeated Bo Nickal and Cody Brundage. Both fighters are known for their first round finishes; in fact, both fighters have lived up to their hype. Bo Nickal knocked down Val Woodburn at UFC 290 in the first round, and Cody Brundage gave chills to the audience with his first round slam finish in his last fight.
