Donald Cerrone is undoubtedly one of the most respected UFC fighters. When the veteran indicated that he would return to the Octagon soon, he got mixed reactions from the MMA community. The cowboy last fought in the Octagon in July 2022, where another veteran, Jim Miller, submitted him. Following the loss, the former announced his retirement and later opened up about his PED usage during his career, which made him feel more active during fights even though he got knocked out 4 times in his last 7 fights and with the rumors of him returning to the UFC is gaining momentum Jim Miller shared his take on that mentioning that he is not supporting the fighter to get back to the Octagon.

“I have a tough time telling other grown men what to do. I don’t really believe in it. But the fact that he was very, very open with his use of performance enhancers and the way the majority of his last fights went. He got knocked out quite a few times and that’s not healing from going on a little [testosterone replacement therapy] or whatever. I’m not super into it, to be 100 percent honest.”

While the Cowboy is planning to return, Jim Miller does not support the idea, though he clarified that he is not asking him what to do. It’s all up to Cerrone’s team whether they want to see more deterioration of Cerrone’s mental capabilities.

“It’s not my call, it’s up to him and his team and if they want him to get punched in the head again, do your thing. I’m not a very big fan of the whole steroid vacation thing. What are we doing? But he’s going to do what he wants to do.”
