“I will not be pushing myself” Jiri Prochazka Is In No Rush To Fight For The Title

Jiri Prochazka is in no rush to fight for the title.

UFC former light heavyweight champ Jiri Prochazka will square off with Jamahal Hill at UFC 311. Both fighters were former champions, and the reigning light heavyweight champ dominated both, Alex Pereira. In fact, Jiri Prochazka’s last two defeats in the Octagon were against the Brazilian. The latest one was at UFC 303 when both fighters accepted to fight on 2 weeks’ short notice. Alex Pereira knocked out Jiri Prochazka in the 2nd round. With the loss, his chances of getting another run to the title diminished with his next fight against former champ Jamahal Hill; he can raise his stakes to get another title run. But the BJP is in no hurry to get the shot to the title.

In an interview with ESPN, “BJP” clarified that he will not rush for the title and wants to enhance his game by fighting rising contenders.

“This is not up to me. It’s about the UFC, the organization, Dana White, and all these guys who do the matchmaking. “Right now, I will not be pushing myself like the first time, like ‘I need to go for the title fight, I need to go for the title fight.’ Like I pushed that in my first three fights in UFC. Right now I want to really directly win from opponent to opponent.”

Meanwhile, Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka are also arguing on social media, pointing out their flaws with “Sweet Dreams ” and claiming that Jiri Prochazka was dominated by Alex Pereira at UFC 303.

In your last performance, you got dominated. Dominated and knocked out, completely shut down, completely exposed, and then got done bad bro. You got did bad, I got caught. You got dominated, it’s a huge difference.”
