One of the most dangerous fighters in the octagon and the current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones recently gave his views on the stunning boxing debut fight of Francis Ngannou where he left everyone in awe with his boxing skills. The former UFC heavyweight champion got the big opportunity to fight the reigning boxing heavyweight champion Tyson fury in his debut boxing match going into this fight he was a clear underdog while going into this fight but proved his prowess in the boxing by knocking down Tyson Fury earlier in the fight and then significantly defending Tyson Fury punches in later rounds to become a clear winner in the eyes of the spectators.
But Tyson Fury crowned as the winner by a split decision by the judges which surprised everyone in fact former boxers called the decision as rigged and declared Francis as the clear winner in the fight. Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou were expected to fight in the octagon when Francis was in the UFC but after parting ways with the UFC this year Francis Ngannou signed deal with the PFL and fans might have to wait for long to see them in a cage fight. Jon Jones sharing his thoughts on the crazy fight wrote this on his X(formerly Twitter) account.
“I thought he did great, I’m glad the fight was competitive. Opens so many doors for everyone in the future.”
Jon Jones
Tyson Fury after his last fight with Francis Ngannou is potentially looking for a rematch but before that he has to defend his title in December this year against Oleksandr Usyk and it is most likely that Francis Ngannou before his PFL MMA debut would be seen once again in the ring.
