Former featherweight champ and BMF title holder Max Holloway will square off with the reigning champ Ilia Topuria at UFC 308 on October 26th, 2024. The main event will be the first time for the Spaniard defending his belt. “El Matador” won the featherweight title after an impressive knockout victory over former champ Alexander Volkanovski, whereas “The Pride Of Hawaii” is coming to the bout with his jaw-dropping win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. Max Holloway, releasing his latest training video on his YouTube channel, revealed how excited he is for the upcoming fight.
I’m excited I get the excitement I know, why you guys excited, the card is crazy our fight mine and Ilia’s fight is one of the most anticipated fights of the year and all I can say is tune in live on pay-per-view October 26.

Max Holloway fought Alexander Volkanovski three times but couldn’t figure out the way to beat “The Great”, Ilia Topuria on the other hand in his first title shot did the unthinkable and knocked out Volkanovski cold in the second round of the fight to become the champion. So, far the Spaniard is undefeated in his professional career and Max Holloway never got knocked out in his professional career it will be an absolute war between these two if the fight goes on feet for most of the rounds.
Ilia Topuria earlier warned Max Holloway that if he ever tried to brawl with him as he did against Justin Gaethje, the “Blessed” would have a high chance of landing on the mat face first.
“If someone really wants to make money, they have to put that I’m gonna knock him out in the first or second round. If he’s gonna bring the same energy he brings in the last 10 seconds of every round like when he (points at the ground), I’m gonna knock him out in the first round… I recommend him to use a helmet. Maybe I’m gonna point to the ground,”
