“You’re a piece of sh*t,” Merab Dvalishvili And Umar Nurmagomedov Heated Back And Forth

Merab Dvalishvili during press conference

UFC reigning Bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili has shown his unwillingness to fight Umar Nurmagomedov in his first title defense. UFC still booked him with Umar Nurmagomedov for UFC 311 co-main event, according to the Bantamweight champ. The No.2 ranked Umar is just using his cousin’s Khabib influence to get things done for him, and that’s what he found frustrating. During the UFC 311 presser, “The Machine” expressed his frustration with his words as the fighters heated things during the conference. When asked about the co-main event, Merab went straight to criticizing his opponent by saying.

“Of course it’s personal, because every time I see him, I give him my respect, I shake his hand, I even tell him I was going to fight him one day, And he started talking trash online, and real men don’t do this. So it’s personal for me.”

Merab Dvalishvili said.

Umar Nurmagomedov replied calmly to Merab and said he just said that “He was avoiding him” to which the champ replied by calling Umar a “Piece of Sh*t”.

“Be a man, first! You have to be a man! You are good fighter but not a good man! You are piece of shit! You are [a] piece of shit! You lost respect! You lost respect as a man, from me! Real men don’t talk trash online!

No such verbal attacks were heard from Umar Nurmagomedov’s side, but it was hard to stop Merab during the presser. The two will settle their disputes in the Octagon on January 2025 at UFC 311, where Islam Makhachev will headline the event. Makhachev will defend his title against the No. 1 rank contender, Arman Tsarukyan. The entire fight card will be announced soon after the completion of the last PPV event of 2024.
