One of the greatest stars of MMA, Demetrious Johnson, or “Mighty Mouse,” has established his name in the world of combat sports in such a way that not only fans of martial arts but the CEO of the ONE Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, believes that Demetrious Johnson is the GOAT of martial arts. The ONE flyweight MMA world champion ‘Mighty Mouse’ last appeared in the cage in a mixed-rules fight with one of the scariest and reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang, who has been one of the deadliest fighters on the ONE roster. Demetrious Johnson beat Rodtang in the fight that happened back in 2022.
DJ was in the UFC before and was holding the UFC flyweight belt till 2018. After leaving the UFC, he entered the world’s largest martial arts organization, ONE Championship, and continued his winning run there as well. Above all, he didn’t hesitate to have a fight with one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters, Rodtang, and that’s what impressed Chatri Sityodtong recently while speaking on the “Thiccc Boy podcast,” hosted by former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub.
