ONE championship’s first fight night of this year is scheduled for January 12. Fight Night 18 will headline a featherweight MMA bout between Shamil Gasanov and Oh Ho Taek at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. Ranking number four in the MMA featherweight division, Shamil Gasanov faced defeat in his last fight against Garry Tonon. As South Korean fighter Oh Ho Taek will also try to bounce back from the defeat he faced in his last fight, it would be interesting to see who will get back to the win column again.

Apart from the headline MMA bout, there are kickboxing and Muay Thai fights scheduled for the event. The start of the new year couldn’t be better for fight fans. With a trio of MMA, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, it would be a spectacle for the fight fans. Before the announced headliner, the main event was going to happen between Superlek Kiatmuu9 and Elias Mahmoudi for the flyweight kickboxing title, but the latter had to withdraw due to injury.
