UFC 298: Topuria vs Volkanovski, Costa vs Whittaker, Full Fight Cards
UFC 298 brings a great opportunity for potential fighters to make their way up in the rankings, and for Ilia Topuria, it brings a chance to dethrone featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, who has been holding the title for more than 4 years now. On the other hand, the co-main event will feature a middleweight bout between Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker. Paulo Costa, who had a fight back in 2022, will be entering the cage after more than one year of break. UFC booked fights for him in 2023, but the fighter pulled out of the fights every time his latest pullout was against Khamzat Chimaev, whom he was scheduled to fight in October 2023.
Apart from the main and co-main event fights, fans would see Ian Machado Garry back in the cage and whether he would maintain his unbeaten record in the octagon or not, as the Irish would face Geoff Neal at UFC 298. Ian Garry was scheduled to fight Vicente Luque at UFC 296 on December 16th last year, but due to some health issues, he pulled himself out of the fight.
