“Unorthodox Approach Could Pay In Tony’s Favor” Demetrious Johnson Ahead Of Tony vs Paddy Fight

Tony Ferguson is going to fight Paddy Pimblett at UFC 296 on December 16.

“El Cucuy” Tony Ferguson since his last losses in the UFC has been advised by the fans to bid farewell to the sport as nobody wants to see him retire like that. Tony Ferguson, who was once called the boogeyman of the lightweight division and considered one of the deadliest fighters to fight with in the octagon, has been on a losing streak of six, which took his MMA record to (26-9) in his last fight against Bobby Green. He got choked by Green in the third round of the fight. Fight fans and former fighters genuinely asked Tony multiple times to retire, but Tony doesn’t seem to be doing that as he is going to fight rising MMA star Paddy Pimblett next at UFC 296.

Recently, “Mighty Mouse” Demetrious Johnson, while doing a fight breakdown video of Tony Ferguson vs. Michael Chandler, also predicted what could work in Tony’s favor and what he has to be careful about while fighting the British MMA fighter on December 16. Demetrious Johnson is excited to see Tony in the octagon again, despite his losses in his last six fights.

“Tony Ferguson is fighting Paddy Pimblett which would be a very interesting fight because when you look at Tony Ferguson’s record 26- 9 that’s not a very bad record”

Demetrious Johnson said

Tony Ferguson will get the support of his fans this time as well, and undoubtedly he is training hard to put on a show for his fans. Recently, he cleared the toughest training session of his life called “The Hell Week,” which was designed by David Goggins, and proudly announced that Tony Ferguson became the first ever to pass his training session.
