Jack Della Maddalena Broke His Forearm Bone At UFC 299: X-Ray Images Show Gruesome Injury
UFC Welterweight Division MMA fighter Jack Della Maddalena remained undefeated in the UFC after his impressive victory over Brazilian fighter Gilbert Burns at UFC 299. Jack Della’s comeback victory was one of the highlights of the UFC 299, as the Australian was lagging behind on points and reaching the final round. He delivered a perfect knee strike when Burns was looking for a takedown, dropping Burns on the floor and ending the fight by following some heavy shots, arguably registering the biggest victory of his UFC career so far. The victory over Burns became more impressive when it was revealed that he finished the bout with a broken forearm bone.
Jack Della Maddalena’s manager Tim Simpson sharing post-fight X-ray images of the fighter revealed that Jack’s left hand forearm bone was broken coming into the third round it is still not clear which round it happened.

Jack Della Maddalena, during the post-fight interview, acknowledged the discomfort he was facing in his limbs, and now the reason behind that has been revealed. The Florida Athletic Commission (FAC) has suspended Jack Della Maddalena from fighting until his recovery, and he will only be allowed to fight again after he gets the clearance of an orthopedic doctor before returning to the octagon again.
During the post-fight interview, Jack Della called out the undefeated fighter of the welterweight division, Shavkat Rakhmonov, for a fight to which the latter also replied by saying yes and warned the former of the same fate his previous opponents faced in the octagon.
