India’s first female fighter to get the UFC contract, Puja Tomar, is all set to make her debut on June 9th, 2024, fighting against Rayanne Amanda at UFC Louisville. Before signing with UFC, Puja Tomar was the women’s Strawweight champion in the Indian MMA organization Matrix Fight Night and is on a four-fight win streak. On the other hand, Brazilian Mixed Martial Artist Rayanne Amanda lost her last fight against Talita Alencar. The two fighters have slightly different approaches. While fighting, Puja Tomar relies on her striking where, whereas Ryanne has a good ground game. A clash between these two would be worth watching, and it is a big moment for Indian fans who desperately want to see an Indian fighter register a win in the octagon.
