At the UFC 316 pre-fight press conference, the UFC Bantamweight champ Merab Dvalishvili and the challenger Sean O’Malley had a heated moment when the reporter asked “Suga” about Merab stating earlier this weekend that he stole his fans, belt, and Jacket and would steal his sponsors as well after their rematch. The latter confidently replied that he would stop Merab’s winning run by knocking him out at UFC 316.
“You know, I truly believe I’m going to knock Merab out. Come Sunday no one’s going to give a f*ck about Merab and that’s just it is what it is.”

Merab Dvalishvili didn’t hold back and vowed to humble Sean O’Malley at UFC 316 by beating him again.

If the Bantamweight champion defends his belt in the main event this weekend, then that will be his second title defense and 13th straight win in the UFC. If Merab gets a win at UFC 316, he will cement his legacy as one of the best Bantamweights in the UFC. Though “Suga” claimed that he has learned from his mistakes and vowed to finish Merab, the question is whether he will be able to execute his plans against “The Machine” who comes up with an intense pace or crumble again.
Sean O’Malley and Merab both claimed that they will go for a finish, fans know “Suga” has to come up with something special to knock out Merab who is an absolute beast when it comes to cardio and taking heavy shots.
