Following a great 2024, UFC has much bigger plans for 2025, and so do the fighters who are part of the World’s top MMA promotion organization. Recently, UFC shared the New Year resolutions of some of the MMA stars on its Instagram account. From reigning champs to contenders, some of the popular fighters on the roster replied to the questions asked of them. The MMA community found one of the replies as one of the funniest ever, and it was of none other than the undefeated Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov, who, when asked by the UFC about his 2025 plans, “The Nomad,” gave a one-word reply which was a simple “No.”
The reply caught everyone off guard, with many highlighting it with laughing emojis. Among those were MMA content creators Helen Yee and Nina Drama, who found the reply hilarious.
Former Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley was one of those fighters whose reply caught the attention of many. After a bad 2024, during which the Bantamweight fighter lost his title to the new champ Merab Dvalishvili, he vowed to make a comeback soon, and until the next fight in the Octagon, he won’t be doing s*x.

On the other hand, former Middleweight champ Sean Strickland shared no New Year resolutions and gave a Sean Strickland kind of reply. According to “Tarzan,” he is a grown man and doesn’t believe in taking stupid resolutions.
“I’m a grown a** man. New years resolutions are for women and children…is that acceptable?”
Sean Strickland replied.
Merab Dvalishvili, who will defend his title in the first PPV event of 2025, shared his plans for the year and revealed that he will spend more time with his family and might find his better half in Georgia.
“My 2025 New Year’s Resolution is to spend more quality time home in Georgia with my family and friends. The past few visits have been filled with meetings and fan gatherings which i am so grateful for but they came at the expense of relaxing with my family. I hope i can spend this time with them – and maybe find a wife there
