India will be hosting the ICC ODI CWC entirely for the first time, as earlier whenever India hosted the men’s CWC, it was a joint event; in fact, in 2011, when India lifted the ICC trophy, it was co-hosted with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, but this time India has the responsibility to organize the ICC event entirely, as the event is going to start on October 5 and end on November 19. The ICC announced the sale of tickets.
ICC CWC 2023 tickets are set to go live on August 25, 2023, as announced by the ICC. First, the tickets for the 44 non-India matches would go live, and later, on August 30, the tickets for the India matches would go live. Cricket fans from around the world can book the tickets by visiting the link (https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com). The tickets for the whole event will be live soon. As of now, it is going to be done in phases, starting with the non-India warm-up matches and then India matches.
The distribution of further ticket sales will be made available in the following stages:
As mentioned by ICC on official website
- 30 August from 20h00 IST onwards: India matches at Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram
