1. Sir Donald Bradman: 2 Triple Centuries

The world’s best batter ever seen is Sir Donald Bradman, who is known for his amazing average of 99.94 in test cricket, but it would have been above 100 that he missed in the last match of his career, where he got out on zero against England at the Oval.

Donald Bradman, who played 52 test matches for the Australian team, scored two triple-centuries, making him the first-ever player to achieve this feat. Both triple centuries came against the England team in the same venue of Leeds and in the same month, but only the year was different.

Donald Bradman scored the first triple century in test cricket on July 11, 1930, at the Leeds vs. England match, which was the third test match of the Australia tour of England. He scored 334 runs in just 448 balls, which was his highest score. The second triple century he scored was on July 20, 1934, at the Leeds vs England match in the first innings. He scored 304 runs in 473 balls but this time he hit 43 boundaries.

2. Virender Sehwag: 2 Triple Centuries

One of the most aggressive batters of all time, Virender Sehwag, is a legendary player and one of the most talented batters in India where he finds his face in a team of great batters, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, and VVS Laxman.

Sehwag scored two triple centuries and also became the first Indian batter to score a triple century on 29 March 2004 against Pakistan at Multan, where he scored 309 runs in 375 balls. The second trip century came against South Africa at Chennai to break the record of most runs scored by boundaries (198) after he scored 319 runs in just 304 balls.

3. Chris Gayle: 2 Triple Centuries

Chris Gayle has been one of the best batters for the West Indies. He has always been known for his aggressive batting, and every bowler finds it hard to bowl against him, which is told by many. He is one of the six West Indies players who scored the triple century.

Gayle scored his first triple century against South Africa at the Antigua Recreation Ground on April 29, 2005. He scored 317 in 483 balls, and then the second triple century came at the 1st Test match against Sri Lanka in which he scored 333 runs in 437 balls.

4. Brain Lara: 2 Triple Centuries

The West Indies living legend Brain Lara have the record of the most runs (400) in test cricket which still not being broken by any cricketer. He is the king of the West Indies cricket alongside Sir Vivian Richards and also considered as one of the best batters of all time.

The first triple century Lara scored was against England at St John’s Antigua, in which he scored 375 runs in 538 balls on April 17, 1994, and the second triple century, which turned into 400, came at the same venue against the same team but the year was 2004 but the month was same.

These were the only four batters who scored triple centuries twice and had written their name in the history of test cricket.
