World Cup 2023: Virat Kohli And Naveen-ul-Haq Quashed Beef, Won Praise of Cricket Fans

World Cup 2023: Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli and Afghanistan’s bowler Naveen-ul-Haq faced each other in yesterday’s match of the World Cup 2023, but this time, showing professionalism and sportsmanship, both players shook hands and hugged, which was a gesture that both players now moved on from the scuffle they had during the IPL 2023 when RCB was taking on LSG. Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq during the IPL 2023 had some heated arguments after the match when both team’s players were shaking hands, which later turned ugly as LSG’s head coach Gautam Gambhir also got involved in the feu and had some heated words with Virat Kohli. BCCI imposed monetary fines on LSG’s coach, Virat, and Naveen-ul-Haq post-match.

Cricket fans were delighted with the gestures of both players on the ground. It was during the 26th over when the unexpected moment came. Both players turned towards each other, shook hands, hugged each other, and ended the feud. Post-match, Naveen-ul-Haq told what Virat Kohli and he said to each other when they quashed the beef.

“He is a nice guy, a good player and we shook hands. It’s always in the ground, it was nothing outside the ground. People make it big. They need that stuff for their followers. He said we are done with that and I said yes we are done with it. We shook hands and hugged,”

Naveen-ul-Haq said

Indian batter Virat Kohli scored fifty during the match, and skipper Rohit Sharma scored a century, which was his seventh century in the ODI World Cup. India won the match against Afghanistan, and now the big match for the Indian team is waiting. India will be taking on Pakistan on October 14. Both teams are on a winning run in the 2023 World Cup, and it would be exciting to see who will keep their winning run on October 14.
