Rodtang Jitmuangnon received T-shirt from Lionel Messi

The King of Muay Thai combat sports, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, has recently received a signed T-shirt from football GOAT Lionel Messi. Rodtang, who has been the reigning champion in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division, is an ardent football fan, and that becomes the reason for his admiration for the Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi. Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, is the real reason behind the gift received by the Muay Thai star. Yassine Chueko was a former US soldier and a professional Muay Thai fighter, and that is enough to describe his admiration for the king of the art of eight limbs.

Rodtang, in his video, also mentioned Yassine Chueko as the reason he got this lovely gift from his football idol.

Rodtang, since his debut in the ONE Championship back in 2018, has dominated every fighter in the Muay Thai flyweight division, but the king of the art of 8 limbs lost to Superlek in his last fight via a unanimous decision in September 2023. This was the first time he has been defeated by someone in the Muay Thai or Kickboxing Flyweight division, though the champion lost to Demetrious Johnson as well. It was in a mixed-rule fight that happened back in 2022.

Fans are desperately waiting to see him back in action, as his next fight is yet to be announced.
