“I’d slap him” Conor McGregor’s Predicted Ilia Topuria’s BKFC Fight Crossover With Him

Conor McGregor during BKFC event

Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor, who is currently in Marbella, Spain, promoting a BKFC event scheduled for October, had a brief media interaction. The media didn’t back away from asking the former champion about his take on a Bare Knuckle fight against Ilia Topuria. Conor, being Conor, replied by saying that if the crossover ever happened, he would slap Ilia around. He also appreciated the reigning UFC featherweight champion and said that the boxing-heavy fighter will do well in the BKFC.

He’s a boxing-heavy style. He would certainly lend well in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – I’d slap him around, he’s too small. I’m a big lad compared to Ilia, but he’s not bad. He’s a current UFC world champion. …So, if you’re asking – I’d beat King Kong if you’re asking me, you know what I’m saying?”

Conor Mcgregor was supposed to do his Octagon return on June 29th, 2024, after recovering from an unfortunate leg break that he had during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier, but he pulled out from his UFC 303 fight against Michael Chandler after injuring his pinky toe. Now, the UFC has given a hint to its fans that McGregor could be headlining an event in the latter half of the year, but nothing can be said for sure. On the other hand, reigning featherweight champion Ilia Topuria will fight the BMF champ Max Holloway at UFC 307 in October, where the champion will defend his belt for the first time.

Ilia Topuria Called Conor McGregor “Mentally Broken” After His UFC 303 Pull out

After McGregor’s pullout, Ilia Topuria didn’t miss the opportunity to slam the former two-division champion and called him “Mentally Weak” for not showing up. “The Notorious” has two fights left in his UFC contract, and it will be exciting to see whether a crossover between these two stars comes to fruition in the coming years.
