UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards will defend his title against Belal Muhammad at the much-awaited UFC 304 event. The card is built around British fighters, as the event will happen in Manchester, England. Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad also crossed paths at UFC Fight Night 2021, but the bout ended with no result due to an eye poke by Leon Edwards that hurt Belal Muhammad. After that, Leon Edwards had a dream run in the UFC, knocking Kamaru Usman out cold in the 5th round by a head kick to win the Welterweight belt and then defending his title against Usman and Colby Covington. Now, he will defend his title for the third time to settle the business with Belal Muhammad.
In the co-main event, UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will defend his interim belt against Curtis Blaydes. The winner of this fight will be next in line to the winner of Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title.
