“Fight Overturned Suga Won” Sean O’Malley’s Self-Declaration After Noche UFC 306 Loss

Sean O’Malley’s loss at the recent Noche UFC 306 event has potentially hit the ambitions of the “Suga” to become one of the biggest UFC superstars, and he is trying to overcome the recent defeat. In his recent tweet, “Suga” declared himself the winner of the fight by saying that he outclassed Merab Dvalishvili in the two rounds of the fight. Though he tweeted such statements as a joke, the antics of the former Bantamweight champion will cook him for that.

“Suga State athletic commission BREAKING NEWS. Suga won 2 of the last 3 rounds. Fight Over turned. Suga won!”

Sean O’Malley tweeted

Merab Davlishvili’s ground game and endless cardio were too much for Sean O’Malley, as the Georgian dominated him during the entire 5 round battle. However, Suga had some moments in the fight where he landed some strikes on Merab, seemingly hurting him, but that was too late in the fight as “the Machine” recovered from the damage quickly and continued fighting till the end to be crowned as the new Bantamweight champion of the UFC. Post-fight former champion Sean O’Malley didn’t give any excuse for his loss and apologized to his fans for his performance.

Merab Dvalishvili not only won the Bantamweight belt, but he also avenged his friend Aljo Sterling’s defeat at UFC 306. Since the loss of “Suga,” he has been called out for a fight by multiple Bantamweight contenders, and one of them was former two-division champion Henry Cejudo who mocked Sean O’Malley for his poor takedown defense and sloppy striking at UFC 306. Sean posted a video just after his loss where he can be seen working on his wrestling skills. It was a tough loss for the former champion, but he promised to come back harder and better in his next fight.
