UFC’s BMF champ and former featherweight title holder Max Holloway shared his opinion on the USA’s gun laws and suggested the parties in disagreement take another route rather than firing at each other to resolve the matter. In his interview with KHO news, Max Holloway offered to take the route of a one-on-one physical fight, be it in the boxing gym with gloves on or in the street, though the second option is not a better one, but it is better than putting a bullet in someone’s body.

“Put the guns down boys and all. Just put them down. You guys got a problem, do it the old-school way and go to a boxing gym, put some gloves on and punch each other, then shake hands. Remember, when we was growing up, street fights, wouldn’t say do it, but shooting someone is something different.”

Max Holloway said

The BMF champ suggested putting on some gloves, exchanging hands in a boxing gym, or playing video games like Call of Duty to keep yourself away from using firearms to resolve the matter.

“Stop violence. Go to the gym, go lift weights. Throw weight, play video games. They want to shoot somebody, go play Apex [Legends] or Call of Duty or something like that. Keep the violence off the streets.”

He added

Max Holloway is scheduled to fight Ilia Topuria in a featherweight bout at UFC 308. After winning the BMF belt at UFC 300, he became worthy of getting a title shot. There has been a lot of back-and-forth going on between the undefeated Ilia Topuria and the “Blessed,” making the future fight more interesting. Holloway has never been knocked out, and the reigning featherweight champion claimed that he will be the first to turn off the lights for Max and defend his belt at UFC 308.
