Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will step inside the cage after 2 years of long break from the MMA to fight for the heavyweight title Of newly joined PFL. The Cameroonian fighter will face the Brazilian powerhouse Renan Ferreira in the main event of the PFL, Saudi Arabia, on 19th October, 2024. After leaving the UFC, the “Predator” entered the Boxing ring and, in his debut boxing match, got former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, whom he dropped during the fight, ultimately losing his debut boxing fight via a controversial split decision. Francis Ngannou’s second boxing fight didn’t go like his first one, as Anthony Joshua Knocked Francis out in the second round.
In the co-main event, veteran Cris Cyborg will fight Larissa Pacheco for the women’s featherweight title. After grazing organizations like UFC and Bellator, Cris Cyborg will fight at PFL against 2023 featherweight champ Pacheco.
