1. Sameer Rizvi
In the last year of the 2024 IPL Auction, Sameer Rizvi was the most expensive Uncapped player, brought by Chennai Super Kings for a huge 8.40 crore, but he failed to make a great impact whenever he got the chance in the IPL 2024.
Rizvi played 8 matches IPL matches in which he scored only 81 runs, but recently, in the UP T20, he was the 2nd top scorer with 468 runs in just 13 matches with an average of 42.55. He already has a bit of experience in IPL, which is also going to come in handy because many IPL players shine in their second string of IPL. Punjab Kings might be the best place for him, as they only retained two players.
2. Swastik Chikara
In the 2024 IPL, Delhi Capital brought Swastik Chikara into their team for his base price of 20 Lakhs, but he did not get a chance to show his skills in the last IPL. However, in the UPT20 league, he was the top scorer with 499 runs in 12 innings, making him a great pick. As KL Rahul left the Lucknow Super Giant camp, he might be a perfect fit to replace him as the opener of the LSG team, but another team is surely going to bid for him.
3. Priyansh Arya
Hailing from Delhi, Priyansh Arya will be one of the batters to look out for, and Delhi Capitals will likely make a bid for the young opener who smashed the bowlers out of the park in the Delhi Premier League. He was the highest run scorer with 608 runs at an average of 67.56, in which he smashed two centuries and four half-centuries in 10 innings.
Royal Challenger Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, and some other teams are looking for second Indian openers, and after his amazing form, he is likely to be on their list.
4. Ashwin Hebbar
Ashwin Hebbar was in the Delhi Capitals but now will be in the Auction List of the 2025 IPL and surely going to be some teams bidding on him as recently he became champions with Vizag Warriors in the Andhra Premier League (APL).
Ashwin scored 456 runs in just 8 innings to help his team win the APL title. He was also the player of the match in the final, scoring 91 not out in just 56 balls. He can play at the opening slot and in the 1st down, so the team struggling to find a good backup opener can get him, but he might not be signed for a base price.
5. Zeeshan Ansari
Zeeshan Ansari is the only bowler on this list because of his amazing performance in the UPT20 League 2024, where he took 24 wickets in 12 matches and consistently performed match by match.
Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders will be favorites to bid for him as they always look out for great spinners, and as we know, in the modern-day T20I leg-break, googly good bowlers are a rare find.
