Manel Kape won his last fight against Bruno Silva via third-round knockout. On the other hand, his opponent, Asu Almabayev, is on a four-fight win streak and comes with a lot of hype behind him. The Kazakh flyweight wasn’t in the picture until Brandon Royval pulled back due to an injury.
The number 8th flyweight title contender, Asu Almabayev, has an undefeated record in the UFC. It will be exciting to see whether he can eliminate the rising flyweight title contender Manel Kape in the main event of the UFC Apex. Apart from the main event, the co-main event is a middleweight clash between Cody Brundage and Julian Marquez. Cody Brundage was scheduled to fight Ryan Loder earlier, but he was booked against Julian Marquez after the pull-out.
