Israel Adesanya has been seen recently training with the former Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, and the duo has shared the skills. The former middleweight champ was undoubtedly one of the most active UFC champions and has fought top competitions in his career, but his eagerness to enter the cage backfired at UFC 293, where Sean Strickland outclassed him to claim the belt. Israel Adesanya was the favorite coming into the fight against the “Tarzan” due to his UFC 287 victory over Alex Pereira, but Sean Strickland dominated him to win a unanimous decision.
Ahead of UFC 316, where Sean O’Malley will be fighting for the Bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili, he discussed his injury before fighting Merab at UFC Noche, “Suga” entered the cage with a torn labrum and what affected his movements. Despite the injury, he accepted the fight because he was high on confidence after defeating Aljamain Sterling and Marlon Vera and was excited to defend it against Merab, but that didn’t go his way as he lost the belt.
Tuning with Sean O’Malley, the “Last Stylebender,” revealed he also thought the same way while signing a fight against Sean Strickland.

“Maybe I should’ve just chilled.’ But again, I love these stories – this is how it’s supposed to happen.
